They also are two of the most art-centric states in the country with two of the most important weeks of fi ne art events for the Western art market: the aptly titled Western Art Week, held each March in Great Falls, Montana, and the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival now in its 42nd year in Jackson, Wyoming. During each these of festivities the surrounding galleries host exhibitions, the cities hold quick draw painting events and auctions, and local museums—like the C.M. Russell Museum and the National Museum of Wildlife Art—host their annual fundraiser art shows and sales. In this special advertising section, you’ll fi nd just a sampling of galleries and museums from the states. They provide a glimpse of their upcoming exhibition schedules, allowing you to plan your art trips for the months ahead.
