Arizona is called home by countless working artists who turn to its vast landscapes, rugged ranch life and majestic sunsets for inspiration. Throughout history artists have turned to the red rocks of Sedona, the cactuses of the Saguaro National Park and, of course, the monumental beauty of the Grand Canyon. There are also notable fi ne art events that take place in the state that are a swell of creativity including the Grand Canyon Conservancy’s Celebration of Art, and the brand-new Scottsdale Art Week where galleries from around the country convene to exhibit and sell works from their roster of artists.
