A recognized hub for the fine arts, Colorado has garnered attention for its 37 communities that have been certified as official state Creative Districts. These places—such as Downtown Colorado Springs, Salida, Greeley, Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe, and so many more—are filled with galleries, artist studios and events that captivate. Each year top contemporary Western artists head to Denver to participate in the annual Coors Western Art Show & Sale, while the Governor’s Art Show & Sale in Loveland is a celebration of artists who call the state home. In this special advertising section, two prominent galleries share their upcoming exhibitions so you can plan your art calendar.
