A look at what’s happening in the world of auctions today
Welcome to our annual look at the auction market in the West. This year we’ve crunched some numbers to provide an overview of recent prices realized, for both contemporary and historic artists. We’ve also provided a handy calendar of upcoming auction dates in the West and beyond. We’ll give you the lowdown on the newest entry into the western auction market, and we’ve also got some inside information on what it takes to produce a major auction. Altogether, it just might inspire you to try your own hand at bidding—if you haven’t already!
